What does VSM charge?
We work to be competitive with the option of joining another practice. For most specialties, a 70/30 split is the market rate but negotiation is possible as different specialties have different needs.

Our services work best for specialists who conduct office-based consults and procedures, but our flexible set-up and in-house IT department allow us to create customized solutions to suit almost any specialty.
How does record keeping work? What EMR is there?
We use OSCAR. It's admittedly not the prettiest EMR, but it has the major advantage of being open-source, meaning we have the ability to add to and make changes to it on our own schedule, instead of needing to wait for a vendor to do so.
Online appointment scheduling is a great example of this - we've integrated OSCAR with an online scheduler to give patients the ability to cancel, and reschedule appointments online 24/7, reducing no-shows and streamlining the patient referral process.
